Breakers and
Die Hards join forces to field Grand Masters in 2008!!!
MMLL rivals, Breakers and Die Hards Lacrosse Clubs, have teamed up this year to form a 6th team to participate in the 2008 Spring Season of t
he Maryland Masters Lacrosse League's Grand Masters Division.
The combined team features players from the Breakers and Die Hards Masters squads as well as some new faces, as the result of a 6 month recruiting process for
over-45 members to establish the team - which will begin competing in the MMLL Grand Masters Division and potentially other various Grand Masters tournaments.
The Breakers and Die Hards boths have wonderful team-cultures (of great inclusion and camaraderie) which makes their union an obvious one - as neither team had enough players to round out a Grand Masters squad alone.
Expansion to Grand Masters helps both clubs also begin to "build a bridge" to allow their existing players (and new members), all of whom have such great fun playing together, the ability to play together for years to come!
In addition, the squad represents the 6th team in the MMLL GM Division which greatly benefits the League by allowing all Grand Masters teams the opportunity to play
every week.
Stay tuned for more news about the Breakers-DieHards Grand Masters team as the year progesses!
